Asthma – Bowen
Boy aged 9 years was diagnosed with asthma when he was 3 years old. He was prone to problems in cold weather and when he was stressed. He also suffered from hayfever at the end of the summer.
I discussed diet with the boy and his parents and he stopped dairy products for the duration of the treatment. Treatment focussed on the mid back and around the chest area of the body. I also worked on the ear, nose and throat areas for the hayfever problem. After 4 treatments over a period of months the boy became more relaxed, breathing improved and he was sleeping better. In August and September his hayfever symptoms were significantly reduced and he gradually became less reliant on his inhaler medication. He now has treatment 2 to 3 times a year and his peak flow measurements continue to improve.
